The ionSpa® Personal, Portable, and Professional utilize a power supply that is not rated for use with the human body. As noted in the safety report, the ionSpa® units failed both the hazardous voltage test and the leakage current test. Applied kinesiology, or muscle testing, will confirm that the body’s electrical system will be blown out when exposed to the ionSpa® foot baths. Bella Spa just recently released a new unit with more features in an attempt to compete with the Original Ion Cleanse but they were unable to keep the doors open so the Ion Spa is no longer available.
